NARRATIVE ON PRINT - The next noteworthy feature of the coast-line, after the Stalactite Cave, is a curiously perforated rock called the Needle Eye, a short way east from which is the Mermaid's Kirk, or Pebbly Den—a recess covered with shingle, and completely enclosed by rocks, but which is reached by the sea through a tunnel in the cliff.
